Newman association
The Rainham Circle is part of the ‘National Newman Association’, but we are, in fact, a small, ecumenical house group that usually meet on the second Sunday of the month.
Our object is to discuss, analyse and think more deeply about aspects of our faith by looking at articles, encyclicals or courses of Bible Study.
Sometimes, we consider various topics proposed by the ‘National Newman Association’, which we then report back on, so that the ‘Newman Association’ can respond to enquiries from interested parties such as the Bishops, or the Media who want to evaluate Catholic thinking opinion. We don’t claim to have the answers but we enjoy thinking about the questions.
We like to organise day retreats or study days. Members of this group have always enjoyed these events and benefited a great deal from it.
If you are interested to join this lively group then please contact:
Mrs Marie Casey (01634 389095).
