Mass for New Catholics’ (Neophytes’ Mass) All those received into the Church at Easter 2022, 2021 and 2020 are very warmly invited to this special Mass, celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson at St George’s Cathedral: Saturday, 21 May 2022 at 11.00am. There will be refreshments in the Amigo Hall afterwards.

If you are celebrating your 1st/10th/25th/40th/50th/60th+ wedding anniversary this year, please apply as soon as possible by email mflkent@rcaos.org.uk to receive an invitation from the Archbishop. The title of your email is your parish location (Rainham), then give the following details:
your names in the format e.g. John & Mary Smith,
your home address,
the anniversary you are celebrating.
Spaces are limited, last day to apply is May 31st 2022.
Summer Time 2022 for altar servers, boys and girls, aged 11-17, of the Southwark diocese. A well organised, fun, educational and prayerful week. The week is a great opportunity to experience a packed programme of activities, with the faith being presented in imaginative ways, as well as the opportunity for fun and making new friends There will be imaginative talks on the Faith, discussion, daily mass, opportunities for Confession and devotional prayers. There will also be sports (football, swimming, etc) games, and a visit to Thorpe Park. This takes place at the Oratory School, Reading, in Oxfordshire. The school has extensive grounds, sports facilities, and a swimming pool. There will be free transport from/to Dartford to the school, from St Anselm’s Dartford and St. Bede’s Clapham Park, details given nearer the time, and one can be picked up from Reading station at a particular time. The week is organised by Fr. Stephen Boyle. Diocesan Chaplain to the Guild of St. Stephen, Fr. Peter Littleton, and Deacon Mark Wharton, and, during the week there will be religious sisters from St. Joseph’s convent, Lymington, and, lay helpers. Please do not hesitate to contact Fr. We are aware that parishioners have expressed concern that they are unable to support the ongoing costs of the parish through their regular offertory collections during these difficult times. If you wish to provide your regular support you can do so by setting up a Bankers Order or by donating to the church accounts by Bank Transfer. Thank you for your concern.
