hospital visitors
A number of our parishioners with others from the Deanery, are volunteer visitors working in the Medway Maritime Hospital, alongside with Hospital Chaplains. The visitors are expected to cover certain wards each week, attending to the spiritual needs of Catholics and any other patients who need them.
After the approval of their parish priests and trained by the Hospital Chaplain Visitor Coordinator, Deacon Alan Boxall. Training and meetings are on going.
Those who are Extraordinary Ministers take Holy Communion whilst visiting. A priest may be requested to administer the Sacrament of the Sick.
If you go into hospital or you would like to join our team, then please contact Deacon Alan Boxall on (01634) 360637
