Padra Pio

Padre Pio Prayer Group

St Pio’s Prayer Group holds a short prayer after 6pm Mass at St Thomas’ Church, Rainham on every first Sunday of the month. We say a decade of the Rosary, then the Padre Pio daily prayer and a Novena to the Sacred Heart and other short prayers asking Padre Pio to accept us as his spiritual children. The secret of the Prayer Group is to 'keep it simple' and in Padre Pio's own words: "Pray, Hope and don't Worry".

All are very welcome to join our Prayer Group; just stay for about 20 minutes after Mass and pray with us. Do come along to this short service.

PRAYER TO ST PIO
O God,
You gave St Pio of Pietrelcina, Capuchin priest,
 the great privilege of participating,
 in a unique way,
in the passion of Your Son.
 Grant us, through his intercession,
the graces which we ardently desire,
and above all, grant the grace of living
in conformity with the death of Jesus,
to arrive at the glory of the resurrection.
Glory be to the Father... (3 times)
